I’m Will. I am 28 years old and currently living in Manchester city centre.
I am the founder and director of a boutique digital advertising agency and also run a network of successful affiliate websites and I have been in the online marketing space for 13 years (yes since I was 15).
I am an extremely passionate entrepreneur and my favourite quote is “persistence is the key to success“.
OK, so at this point I will give you two options:
- I want to read the short story of Will’s life & how he stumbled in to this industry.
- I want to read the long story of Will’s life & how he stumbled in to this industry.
- Skip Will’s story, move on to the next section!
The short story
To give a quick summary, it all started when I was 15 years old.
Interestingly, I hadn’t had a PC for very long, I’d saved enough money to purchase my first computer (think I was 13 or 14), which was generated through working with my father (bricklayer) several nights a week and at the weekends. Once I owned my first computer, waited for the AOL dial up to kick in and launch myself on to the World Wide Web, I felt like a door had just been opened and once I’d stepped inside there were endless paths to take.
The opportunities were endless
Don’t get me wrong, I never actually knew I could make money online at that point, but as making money came natural to me it was definitely something I wanted to explore in more detail.
So, I spent the next 12-18 months mainly playing Counter Strike Source with my friends…ha!
Fast forward to when I was 15, I had bought a new computer and I was now at a point where I was no longer computer illiterate and I was facing an issue at school.
As many schools do today, they had setup security filters to block social networks such as Bebo and Myspace, after doing a little research I found that you could bypass these with a ‘proxy’ server and there were various websites which helped to do this for you. The biggest issue though, was it was very, very easy for these proxy websites to become blocked and they were very much a churn and burn.
So, I decided to try and build my own, after an extremely steep learning curve I managed to launch my first proxy website which worked pretty well for me and my friends at school. I think somewhere along the path I’d managed to sign up to Digital Point Forums (they had a huge 300+ page thread on proxy websites).
The long story
Why have I launched this blog?
This blog is as much for me as it is for you.
For me, it’s about accountability and giving back.
What do I mean by this? Well first off, accountability: as you may or may not have noticed, this blog has a large focus on real-time case studies, these are new business developments I’ve launched in the public eye to allow those who follow along to learn from my successes and my mistakes as well as getting a step by step guide (blueprint) to launching a successful business. However, it also keeps me accountable, ensuring I am persistent, I maintain course and finally helps motivate me to be successful.
As for giving back, if you had read my ‘long story’ you would of heard me mention a couple of guys/forums that helped me greatly in my path to getting where I am today. Well, during that time I’ve learnt a lot and I’d love to share this knowledge with others in the hope that I too can help some of you in your paths to becoming successful.

What does it take to make money online?
It takes persistence, self-control and sacrifice.
A couple of things you will notice about this blog:
- There are no advertisements.
- I will not promote anything I don’t actually use on a monthly basis and there will be solid reviews and evidence as to why it’s awesome, if I do actually recommend anything.
- I will aim to make every single piece of content I publish awesome.
